Mr. Ramadorai has been in public service since February 2011 and is currently the Chairman of National Skill Development Agency (NSDA) in the rank of a Cabinet Minister. The NSDA is an autonomous body which coordinates and harmonizes the skill development efforts of the Government and the private sector to achieve the skilling targets of the nation. He is also Chairman of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), a Public Private Partnership arm of the Government of India for creating large, for-profit vocational institutions.

He recently retired as the Vice - Chairman of Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, a company he was associated with, for 42 years. He took charge as CEO in 1996 when the company's revenues were at $155 million and since then led the company through some of its most exciting phases, including its going public in 2004. In October 2009, he completed his tenure as CEO, leaving a $ 6 billion global IT services company to his successor to lead. He was then appointed Vice Chairman of TCS. Today, the company's revenues stand at US $ 13.4 billion for the year ended March 31, 2014.

Mr. Ramadorai is Chairman of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE Limited) and AirAsia (India) Pvt Ltd. He continues to be an Independent Director on the Boards of Hindustan Unilever Limited, Asian Paints Limited and Piramal Enterprises Limited.

He also serves as the Chairman on the Council of Management at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) and the Chairman of the Governing Board at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). He is also the President of the Society for Rehabilitation of Crippled Children (SRCC) which is building a super speciality children's hospital in Mumbai.

In recognition of Ramadorai's commitment and contributions to the IT industry, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan (India's third highest civilian honour) in January 2006. In April 2009, he was awarded the CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for his contribution to the growth of Indo-British economic relations.

Among his many interests, Ramadorai is also passionate about photography and Indian classical music.

Mr. Ramadorai has been the Chairperson of Axis Bank Foundation since January 2010.

Smt. Sheela Patel is the founder Director of the Society for Promotion of Area Resource Centres (SPARC), an NGO that has been working since 1984 to support community organizations of the urban poor in their efforts to access secure housing and Basic amenities and seek their right to the city. SPARC has been working in alliance with two Community Based Organizations – National Slum Dwellers Federation (NSDF) and Mahila Milan (women’s collectives in slums) that are active in 70 cities in different states of India.

Since 1999, she has also been Secretary and Chief Executive of SPARC Samudaya Nirman Sahayak (SSNS), a non-profit company set up to assist slum communities take on construction projects in cities to provide slum dwellers to build homes and sanitation for themselves. She is a founder of Slum/Shack Dwellers International (SDI), an international network of poor people’s organizations and the NGOs that support them in Asia, Africa and Latin America, and is currently its Chairperson.

She graduated from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai. For 10 years she worked as a counsellor at the Nagpada Neighbourhood House, a community centre in the inner city of Mumbai. In 1984, she founded SPARC along with other professionals.

Smt. Patel is presently on the Technical Advisory Group of the Ministry of Urban Development of the Government of India for the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) and also a member of the Prime Minister Review Committee on JNNURM. She has been associated and is currently involved as Chair or Board Member/Trustee of many organizations such as Society for Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA), Council member of Water and Sanitation Program of the World Bank , and International Institute of Environment and Development, UK, to name a few. She was also a member of the MDG Task Force on improving the lives of slum dwellers and advisor to the UNDP Commission for the Legal Empowerment of the Urban Poor.

She received the United Nations Habitat Award in 2000 and the David Rockefeller Bridging Leadership award in 2009. In 2011 she was the recipient of the Padma Shri Award, the highest civilian honor in India.

Som Mittal is the former Chairman and President of NASSCOM, the premier trade body for the IT-BPM Industry in India. He held the position of President, NASSCOM from 2008-13 and steered the industry through one of its most challenging phases. Under his leadership, the industry crossed the USD 100 billion milestone and significantly expanded its value offerings.

Som Mital has held corporate leadership roles in the IT industry at companies such as Wipro, Digital, Compaq and HP. He also has extensive experience in the engineering, manufacturing and automotive industries, having held executive roles with Larsen & Toubro, Escorts and Denso. He has held several global positions and managed business across geographies.

Som Mittal has worked with a wide range of organizations. He served as a member of the Indian Prime Minister’s Committee on National e-Governance, as board member Institutes of Technology and the Global Advisory Council of the WITSA. He is a frequent speaker at International and National conferences and is currently on several Boards and associated with several NGOs.

He is on the Governing Board of several educational and social organizations. He is also a member of Board of Directors/Advisory councils of Axis Bank, EXL Service Holdings, Inc., Cyient Ltd, NIIT Univ and IIT,Indore among others. He now advises companies, CEOs and senior leaders on growing business particularly on developing economies and in co-creating policies with Govts. He is an Advisor to foreign Govts like New Zealand.

He holds a B.Tech from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

For his contributions to the industry in India and globally as well as to society, he has received recognitions including Distinguished Alumni of IITK and Lifetime achievement award by World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA) for outstanding dedication to the growth of the Global ICT industry and Leadership

Mr. V. Srinivasan is the Deputy Managing Director of the Bank. He joined Axis Bank as the Executive Director - Corporate Banking in 2009 and was elevated as a Director on the Board of Axis Bank in October 2012. He has more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry and has worked in the areas of Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Treasury and Foreign Exchange Management.

Before joining Axis Bank, Mr. Srinivasan was Managing Director and Head of Markets with J. P. Morgan, India. He has served on various RBI Committees including the Technical Advisory Committee, Committee for Repos and Committee for STRIPS. He has also held the positions of Chairman, Fixed Income Money Market and Derivatives Association of India (FIMMDA) and Chairman, Primary Dealers Association of India (PDAI). Currently, he is a member of the CII National Committee on Banking.

He holds an engineering degree from the College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai and is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.

Rajesh Kumar Dahiya, Group Executive – Axis Bank Ltd, is an Engineer with a Masters in Human Resources Management.

Rajesh began his career in 1990 with Rallis India Limited, one of the Tata Group companies and went on to handle various responsibilities in the company in Human Resources, Manufacturing Supply Chain Management, Institutional Sales, and Exports areas. In 2004, he moved within the Tata Group to Tata Sons Ltd. as Vice President, Group Talent Acquisition and Head — Tata Administrative Services.

Before joining Axis Bank, he was associated with Tata Beverages Ltd. with the responsibility to integrate various businesses under a common supply chain.

He is responsible for Compliance, Corporate Communication, Company Secretary, Human Resource Management and Administration at Axis Bank.

Rajesh has lived in various parts of the country and now a Mumbaikar living with his wife and two daughters. He devotes his free time to road travels, poetry, music and cityscape photography.

Mr .K Anil Kumar,is a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. He has been in the banking industry for over 30 years.

After joining State Bank of Travancore, as a Probationary Officer in 1979, he served in various capacities in Trade Finance, Retail Banking, Agricultural Banking, SME Banking and Corporate Banking before joining Axis Bank in 1995. While with State Bank of Travancore, apart from handling various commercial banking functions he had also headed the SWIFT implementation project as a core team member of the technology implementation team.

Since joining Axis Bank, he has held positions in Retail Banking, SME Banking and Trade Finance and Financial Institutions businesses. He set up the Financial Institutions business and Trade Services business for the bank.

He is also interested in community service and agriculture. He runs an NGO in India which is involved in educating children from financially challenged families.

He joined Axis Bank Foundation in March 2015 as Executive Trustee & CEO.
