Axis Bank Foundation believes that an equitable

and good quality education is the first step towards creating a life of dignity and opportunities.

Over the years, it supported over 80 Non Profit organisations working with various groups and communities in the field of education. Through these partnerships across India, ABF helped enhance the learning processes and made it an enjoyable experience. These projects were targeted to reach children in rural areas where child labor is prevalent.

The program on secondary education focused on two groups – girl children from economically disadvantaged families who are also victims of gender bias and children of sex workers in urban areas.

Axis Bank Foundation also supported remedial education, differential education and special education for children with various forms of disabilities, including intellectual disabilities. Axis Bank Foundation capacitated its partners and helped build an ecosystem, where the best practices from the interventions can be scaled up.
